Traci Mazza OTR/L
Hi,my name is Traci and I started Limitless Senior Services, LLC in order to bridge the gap that I saw in the current healthcare system and offer premium services to individuals and caregivers in their natural environment.
My experience working with the adult and geriatric population started in 2006, when I was a sophomore at DePaul University in Chicago. At this time, I started working with a senior within an Assisted Living Facility on exercises prescribed by his occupational and physical therapist. The time I spent with him was also used to transport him to and from appointments, bring him to places of interest, assist him with daily tasks, and socializing. The days I spent with this client quickly became my favorite days of the week. I realized at this time the lack of support and availability of services such as these for individuals and their caregivers. This led to feelings of being stuck at home with nowhere to turn. I wanted to do something to help and bring joy to these individuals and their caregivers - to give them the tools to be their best selves.
I create opportunity where others don't see one.
I attended graduate school at UW-Madison Wisconsin and received my Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. Since receiving my degree, I have worked in outpatient, skilled nursing, and hospital settings.I found, as a licensed and certified occupational therapist, that I was spending more time on documentation and less time on quality patient care.
My specialties include: Fall prevention, Neurological Rehabilitation, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Home safety assessment, exploration and training in new roles and routines, socialization, cognition, caregiver assistance and training, productivity, and independent living skills. To learn more about what occupational therapy services can offer please see the page titled, "Why OT?".
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband, dog (Goose), and family. I love to read, play in the mountains, volunteer, and explore. I am a lifelong learner and enjoy challenging myself to be better on a daily basis.
